Hello! I am Ezzeldin Ismail, a Full Stack Developer and Data Scientist based in Toronto with a passion for crafting efficient and scalable web applications. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, specializing in Software Engineering. With a strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript, alongside modern frameworks like React, Next.js, and Flask, I am well-versed in developing both the frontend and backend aspects of web applications. My educational background and hands-on experience have enabled me to build robust systems that meet client and project specifications.

My work experiences include a position with the Ontario Ministry of Children, Youth, and Social Services, where I implemented a chatbot using Rasa AI and developed an internal website to allow admins to manage the chatbot's questions and answers. This project required collaboration in an agile environment, as well as the integration of MySQL for secure data storage. I also leveraged Flask to server the website and Apache as a reverse proxy, ensuring seamless functionality across different services. This opportunity honed my ability to communicate effectively with many different teams and meet project deadlines consistently.

In addition to professional projects, I have undertaken several freelance assignments. Most recently, I built a website for Hilights International, utilizing React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS to create a dynamic platform for showcasing products and events. I integrated this with the client's existing backend, ensuring their ability to update the website whenever needed. My ability to quickly adapt to client needs and implement custom solutions has been a key strength in these freelance roles.

As a Data Scientist, I am particularly drawn to projects that require analytical thinking and problem-solving. From analyzing financial market data using machine learning models to exploring polarization in social networks, my academic projects have allowed me to apply techniques like regression analysis and graph-based algorithms to gain insights into complex datasets. Whether it's deploying web applications or analyzing data trends, I am passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems and am always eager to take on new challenges.
